Shipments are handled by DHL Freight, and the final rate is determined by four factors: the type of pallet (half-pallet, Euro-pallet, industrial pallet), the recipient's postal code in the Netherlands, the address type (business or residential), and any selected additional services. What this means in practice:

• A Euro-pallet weighing 80 kg and one weighing 700 kg have the same base price — it is the pallet type that counts, not the weight.
• The recipient's postal code determines the zone — delivery to Rotterdam, Venlo, or Tilburg may cost differently than delivery to the north of the country, such as to Groningen or Leeuwarden.
• Shipping to or from a residential address incurs a one-time surcharge (it does not double if both addresses are residential).
• Shipment insurance is optional and paid — you can cover goods up to a value of 19,999 PLN.
• A vehicle with a tail lift is included in the service and is ordered automatically, without the need for a special request.

You can ship a pallet to the Netherlands via the Furgonetka.pl dashboard in four steps: select the pallet type and enter the recipient's postal code, book your DHL Freight shipment, print the shipping label and attach it to the packed pallet, and a courier will collect it from your specified address. This is a door-to-door service available under a brokerage agreement.

Step by step:

1. Get a quote — enter the pallet type (half-pallet, Euro-pallet, industrial pallet) and the recipient's postal code in the Netherlands. The price is based on the pallet type, not its weight.
2. Book your shipment — placing an order automatically schedules the courier pickup. There is no separate "book a courier" step.
3. Prepare the pallet — wrap the goods in stretch film, secure them with straps, and ensure nothing overhangs the edges of the pallet. You must provide your own pallet; the courier does not supply one.
4. Attach the shipping label to the outside of the shipment and hand the pallet over to the DHL Freight courier.

What to know before shipping:

• Enter the full postal code in the "1234 AB" format. Dutch postal codes consist of four digits and two letters and are very precise — they often indicate a specific street or section of a street. Providing only the digits makes delivery difficult.
• Provide the recipient's phone number — city centers often have low-emission zones and vehicle access restrictions, so having a contact number allows the courier to arrange a convenient delivery time.
• A vehicle with a tail lift is ordered automatically — you do not need to request this or select anything extra in the form. A loading ramp at the sender's location is not required.
• Shipments to or from a private address are subject to a one-time surcharge.
• Insurance for goods up to 19,999 PLN is optional — this service does not include free insurance.
• Redirecting a shipment is possible at any stage of transit, but only within the Netherlands and subject to an individual quote.

You can ship a half-pallet (80 × 60 cm), a Euro pallet (120 × 80 cm), or an industrial pallet (120 × 100 cm) to the Netherlands with a maximum weight of 750 kg and a maximum height of 210 cm — both parameters include the pallet itself. A single order can include multiple pallets of the same type.

Available pallet types and quantity limits per shipment:

• Half-pallet — 80 × 60 cm — maximum of 5 units per shipment.
• Euro pallet (EPAL) — 120 × 80 cm — maximum of 5 units per shipment.
• Industrial pallet — 120 × 100 cm — maximum of 4 units per shipment.

Other rules:

• Maximum weight per pallet, including the pallet: 750 kg. Maximum height: 210 cm.
• Maximum actual weight of an entire multi-pallet shipment: 2500 kg.
• You cannot mix different types of pallets in a single order — all pallets in a shipment must be of the same type.
• Goods must not overhang or extend beyond the edges of the pallet — overhanging cartons lose more than 30% of their structural strength.
• The top surface of the shipment must be flat; stacking in a pyramid shape puts the goods at risk of damage and delays.
• The pallet must be wrapped in stretch film and secured with straps; attach the shipping label to the outside, never inside the load.
• The courier does not provide pallets — the sender must supply them independently.

No. The Netherlands is part of the European Union, so a pallet sent from Poland is not subject to customs clearance or duties — goods move freely within the EU single market. You do not need to prepare a customs declaration, export declaration, or pay any customs duties.

Documents worth preparing when shipping to the Netherlands:

• Shipping label — generated in the Furgonetka.pl panel and attached to the pallet before the courier arrives.
• Commercial invoice — included with the goods for B2B shipments; also useful in the event of a claim.
• Recipient's EU VAT number — the Dutch btw-nummer with an NL prefix, if you are settling the transaction as an intra-Community supply of goods (ICS) at a 0% rate.
• Proof of delivery — for ICS, tax authorities may require proof that the goods have reached the Netherlands.

Note: The Caribbean Netherlands is not the Netherlands. This destination covers only the European part of the country.

• Bonaire, Saba, and Sint Eustatius — the so-called Caribbean Netherlands, which lie outside the EU customs and tax area.
