• A Euro-pallet weighing 80 kg and one weighing 700 kg have the same base price – it is the pallet type that counts, not the weight.
• The recipient's postal code determines the zone – delivery to Berlin, the Ruhr area, or Hamburg may cost differently than delivery to a location far from major logistics hubs.
• Shipping to or from a residential address incurs a one-time surcharge (it does not double if both addresses are residential).
• Shipment insurance is optional and paid – you can cover goods up to 19,999 PLN.
• A vehicle with a tail lift is included in the service and is ordered automatically, without the need for a special request.

You can ship a pallet to Germany via the Furgonetka.pl dashboard in four steps: select the pallet type and enter the recipient's postal code, order the DHL Freight shipment, print the shipping label and attach it to the packed pallet, and a courier will collect it from the specified address. This is a door-to-door service available under a brokerage agreement.

Step by step:

1. Get a quote - specify the pallet type (half-pallet, Euro-pallet, industrial pallet) and the recipient's postal code in Germany. The price depends on the pallet type, not its weight.
2. Order the shipment - placing an order automatically schedules the courier pickup. There is no separate "order a courier" step.
3. Prepare the pallet - wrap the goods in stretch film, secure them with straps, and ensure nothing protrudes beyond the pallet's edge. You must provide your own pallet; the courier does not supply one.
4. Attach the shipping label to the outside of the shipment and hand the pallet over to the DHL Freight courier.

What you should know before shipping:

• A vehicle with a tail lift is ordered automatically—you do not need to request this or select anything extra in the form. A loading ramp at the sender's location is not required.
• Shipping to or from a private address incurs a one-time surcharge.
• Insurance for goods up to 19,999 PLN is optional—this service does not include free insurance.
• Shipment redirection is possible at any stage of transport, but only within Germany and subject to an individual quote.

‍You can ship a half-pallet (80 × 60 cm), a Euro-pallet (120 × 80 cm), or an industrial pallet (120 × 100 cm) to Germany with a maximum weight of 750 kg and a maximum height of 210 cm, including the pallet itself. A single order can include multiple pallets of the same type.

Available pallet types and quantity limits per shipment:

• Half-pallet - 80 × 60 cm - maximum of 5 units per shipment.
• Euro-pallet (EPAL) - 120 × 80 cm - maximum of 5 units per shipment.
• Industrial pallet - 120 × 100 cm - maximum of 4 units per shipment.

Other rules:

• Maximum weight per pallet, including the pallet: 750 kg. Maximum height: 210 cm.
• Maximum actual weight of the entire multi-pallet shipment: 2500 kg.
• You cannot mix different types of pallets in a single order — all pallets in a shipment must be of the same type.
• Goods must not hang over or extend beyond the edge of the pallet — overhanging cartons lose more than 30% of their structural strength.
• The top surface of the shipment must be flat; stacking items in a pyramid shape puts the goods at risk of damage and delays.
• The pallet must be wrapped in stretch film and secured with straps; attach the shipping label to the outside, never inside the load.
• The courier does not provide pallets — the sender is responsible for providing them.

Shipments not packed according to these guidelines may be re-priced by the carrier according to the Road Freight Standard offer.

No. Germany is a member of the European Union, so a pallet sent from Poland is not subject to customs clearance or duties - goods move freely within the EU single market. You do not need to prepare a customs declaration, export declaration, or pay any customs duties.

Documents worth preparing when shipping to Germany:

• Shipping label - generated in the Furgonetka.pl panel and attached to the pallet before the courier arrives.
• Commercial invoice - included with the goods for B2B transactions; also useful in the event of a claim.
• Recipient's EU VAT number - the German USt-IdNr with the DE prefix, if you are settling the transaction as an intra-Community supply of goods (ICS) at a 0% tax rate.
• Proof of delivery - for ICS, tax authorities may require proof that the goods have reached Germany.

International pallet shipping with DHL Freight is available under a brokerage agreement - this is the standard model for regular business pallet shipments.

For shipments between Poland and Germany, you can use DHL Freight or Ambro Express. The choice depends on the weight and whether you have the equipment to load the goods: DHL Freight accepts pallets up to 750 kg and provides a vehicle with a tail lift, while Ambro Express handles pallets up to 200 kg, with loading and unloading being the responsibility of the sender and recipient.

DHL Freight - choose this if:

• the pallet weighs over 200 kg (up to a 750 kg limit),
• you don't have a loading dock or forklift - a vehicle with a tail lift is provided automatically,
• you are shipping multiple pallets at once (up to 5 Euro pallets, with a total weight of up to 2,500 kg),
• you need a single shipping process for Germany and 19 other EU countries.

Ambro Express - choose this if:

• the pallet weighs up to 200 kg,
• you have a loading dock or forklift at both ends - the carrier does not perform loading or unloading and does not provide a vehicle with a tail lift,
• you need to ship a 120 × 120 cm industrial pallet, which is not available through DHL Freight.
