Step by step:

1. Get a quote — enter the pallet type (half-pallet, Euro-pallet, industrial pallet) and the recipient's postal code in Belgium. The price is based on the pallet type, not its weight.
2. Book your shipment — placing an order automatically schedules the courier pickup. There is no separate "book a courier" step.
3. Prepare the pallet — wrap the goods in stretch film, secure them with straps, and ensure nothing overhangs the edges of the pallet. You must provide your own pallet; the courier does not bring one.
4. Attach the shipping label to the outside of the shipment and hand the pallet over to the DHL Freight courier.

Things to know before shipping:

• Use the address in the language of the recipient's region. Belgium is a trilingual country, and many cities have two official names — Antwerpen in Dutch is Anvers in French, Liège is Luik, and Mons is Bergen. Use Dutch names in Flanders, French names in Wallonia, and you can use either in Brussels. Copying the address exactly as provided by the recipient is the easiest way to avoid delivery issues.
• Enter the four-digit postal code, for example, 1000 for central Brussels.
• Provide the recipient's phone number — major city centers have low-emission zones with vehicle restrictions, so having a contact number allows the courier to arrange a convenient delivery time.

• Maximum weight per pallet, including the pallet: 750 kg. Maximum height: 210 cm.
• Maximum actual weight of the entire multi-pallet shipment: 2500 kg.
• You cannot mix different types of pallets in a single order — all pallets in a shipment must be of the same type.
• Goods must not hang over or extend beyond the edge of the pallet — overhanging cartons have their durability reduced by more than 30%.
• The top surface of the shipment must be flat; stacking in a pyramid shape puts the goods at risk of damage and delays.
• The pallet must be wrapped in stretch film and secured with straps; attach the shipping label to the outside, never inside the load.
• The courier does not provide pallets — the sender must provide them independently.

You do not need to prepare a customs declaration, export declaration, or pay customs duties. The entire route passes through Schengen Area countries, so there are no border controls at any point.

Documents worth preparing when shipping to Belgium:

• Shipping label — generated in the Furgonetka.pl panel and attached to the pallet before the courier arrives.
• Commercial invoice — included with goods for B2B shipments; also useful in the event of a claim.
• Recipient's EU VAT number — the Belgian BTW or TVA number with the BE prefix. Note the format: the prefix is followed by ten digits, and the number usually starts with a zero — it is easy to omit this when typing, which leads to rejection during VIES verification.
• Proof of delivery — for intra-Community supply of goods (WDT), tax authorities may require proof that the goods reached Belgium.
