Frequently

asked questions

I heard the bill was withdrawn - so why the rush?

The Polish draft was withdrawn (May 18, 2026), but the obligation itself was not - it stems from an EU directive and will be implemented sooner or later. The Polish law is still in progress, and we don't have a new deadline - so you have a choice: prepare your store now while it takes 2 minutes and there is no pressure, or do it in a rush when a date is suddenly announced. A second, more important daily reason: easy returns increase conversion and customer trust - they work right now, regardless of the law. Implementation is free and reversible, so you risk nothing.

What if a customer starts abusing the right of return?

The directive gives the customer 14 days to withdraw for any reason - this is a minimum requirement you cannot bypass. However, it does not protect against abuse: in your terms and conditions, you can specify that products must be returned in an unaltered state, you can refuse to accept damaged returns, and in extreme cases, you can block customers who habitually abuse the system.

Are my data and my customers' data safe?

Yes - we are a data processor under GDPR and operate based on a data processing agreement. The customer only sees their own return data, and we only pass the necessary information to the courier. A full GDPR audit and ISO 27001 certification are available upon request.

I heard the bill went back for review - what about the regulations?

Yes - on May 18, 2026, the Polish draft was withdrawn and returned for legislative review, so the final shape of the regulations may still change. And that’s exactly why this is convenient: we handle the updates. If the law changes, we will adjust the system, and you won't even know anything happened (other than receiving an email notification). You don't have to implement anything again. Compare this to a custom implementation, where every change equals a new project with a developer.

Does the customer see my brand or Furgonetka's?

With a quick implementation (link), the customer sees the Furgonetka screen - but with your logo and color scheme if you opt for full integration. In a full integration, the returns module is built directly into your store, under your domain, with your branding. Furgonetka is invisible - the customer won't even know you're using us.

I already have my own returns system. Will anything break?

Nothing happens. Furgonetka runs in parallel with your current setup - you can have both systems active at once, and the customer only sees the one linked in their current email. Many stores test both for two weeks before switching over once they see that Furgonetka performs better.

I'm implementing it now – what if the Polish law comes back in a different form?

As a broker, Furgonetka adapts the system to every regulatory change - we handle compliance, not you. If the legislation returns with different requirements, we will implement them on our end. Your store keeps running, the return link keeps working, and the customer won't even notice a change. You don't have to implement anything again or update a thing. This is the fundamental difference between a broker solution and building your own with a developer, where every regulatory change equals a new project, a new budget, and new testing.

How much will this cost after a year? Is there a catch?

Zero implementation costs, zero monthly fees, and no limits on the number of returns. We don't make money off you - we earn from the courier fees that customers pay for shipping anyway. It’s in our best interest for you to stay with us long-term, so we don't raise prices or introduce hidden fees. That is the core of our business model.
