DPD Polska has been operating on the market since 1991. It was founded as Masterlink Express, a company with 100% Polish capital. In 1998, it was acquired by the Swedish Post Group, which contributed to its dynamic growth and the expansion of its service range. In 2002, it became a DPD representative, gaining access to a courier network operating in over 30 European countries. That same year, following the acquisition of Air Cargo Poland, the company's service portfolio expanded to include customs and freight forwarding (air, sea, and road). DPD offers its services to both individual and business customers.
DPD CLASSIC is our standard courier service, offering reliable next-day delivery. It includes insurance up to 1,000 PLN, two delivery attempts, and online tracking. Additionally, DPD offers many extra options, such as Cash on Delivery, increased insurance for valuable items, and customized return shipment options.
Our express service ensures delivery by a specific time. Packages are delivered by 9:30 AM, 12:00 PM, or at a specific time on the day following courier pickup. If a package is dropped off at a point, the dispatch date is considered the day the courier collects it from that point. Exact delivery times can also be arranged individually with the customer.
The Predict service notifies the recipient of a 2-hour delivery window. Notifications are sent on the day of delivery via SMS and email. If the recipient is unavailable, they can choose an alternative delivery date from three suggested options.
Every package sent via DPD is registered in our IT system, allowing senders to track their shipment online. By entering the waybill number, the system displays the current location of the package.
This service allows for the return of documents attached to the original shipment. It is particularly useful for contracts that need to be returned to the sender after being signed. Returned documents are processed on a weekly cycle.
A recommended service for any customer who wants to ensure payment for their product. The recipient only receives the package upon payment at the time of delivery. The COD amount cannot exceed 19,999 PLN. Additionally, for amounts over 1,000 PLN, DPD automatically applies an insurance fee of 0.1% of the COD value.
